Open hostility mixed with positive reinforcement, ie. smiles, praise, and trivial reward (catering to, encouraging an eager to please attitude). Seeing that ugly insincere face became a rather large distraction resulting in agitating all of the boys in the class.
She was openly hostile to all the boys (83' grade seven, northern Ontario, a lesser mainly first nations school).
A crazy coot who'd have us make a semi-circle with our desks boys at the front and girls observing from the side, (almost beyond peripheral vision) then have the most developed girl jump rope... this kind of study went on for a year and a half with no benefit to the boys and some very hard feelings for the girls.
She went even nutty for a while and found solace within the safety of sedation and rubber walls. After 'second birth' and a phd write a few papers and began teaching again. There's a few of us who'd like to visit the ol' bat and get even, I don't honestly know why we don't.
I've always been an avid reader and am one of those who make a far too many grammar and spelling errors (unless I take a break for ½ hr and proof read). Even after many rereads I tend to fill in the details without consciously observing the mistakes.
It can be overcome if I concentrate word by word but is a slow and tedious process. Taking from a few days to a few weeks to pick up to normal speed. Greater accuracy needs to be constantly reinforced, shows signs of degradation in days and is completely lost within a few weeks.
Physical activity can play a large role on mental ability as well. Light to heavy activity seems to make medium to heavier reading and writing overwhelmingly burdensome.
IMO, reading slowly is a pleasure and an art if you can enjoy the content. An experience almost uncomfortably close to short term memory.

I guess they're saying that attractive men have more XX swimmers then XY swimmers? Guys who determine the gender of the baby and is no way biologically influence by women; most likely by the health of the swimmers and numbers of XX and XY carriers.
heh, is there commercial interests influencing the numbers and because it's a guys body, it's his right, especially where privacy is concerned. She'd never have to know. No real purpose in mentioning this other then sending the trite supremacists into raving bouts of hysteria.

Perhaps a point of concern.
India has a very high hermaphrodite birth rate and faces enormous amounts industrial pollution. High estrogen levels (a byproduct of paper mills) in the Great Lakes (North America) is seeing hermaphrodite aquatic life although the change seems to be happening after birth.
Out of curiosity, does estrogen influence the XX and XY swimmers in da' boys hanging down below? If not, what other factors influence the population? Tight jockies, tight pants, in love, bitterness, stress, etc... ? If there's an logical evolutionary response, perhaps stress could lead to greater numbers of XY's.
